Hi Deborah, thanks for being so bold with your contact info! I will call over the weekend to speak with you if that's ok? Here is my response as posted on your BBS:

Well I think that sounds like a plan. Let us negotiate. How can I help you? What stands in the way of what you want to do?

Hi Deborah, I would say finding a seasoned business visionary of spiritual bent, who has a firm grip on the technology and implications of social networking, who has access to the several millions of start up dollars needed to put a prototype venue in place (all the market research has been done and systems/programs proven in prototype installations. Someone dedicated to serving a creative constituency (in Los Angeles initially with global reach) for fine tuning our business package (for franchising) and setting up to business side of our mentoring, edutainment, and public/member services. I have amassed several great teams in the past but without funds, the folks left the fold. Therefore we (I) need a person seasoned in "old" business with a mindset for innovation and innovative business practices (I want all who associate with CCs to derive social as well as economic benefits, someone with a passion and dedication to being of service. Someone aware of general systems design, mass media on the cutting edge of education and entertainment. Ideally the person would be (know a good entertainment-business lawyer who can help protect intellectual property, create co-branding agreements with existing companies; a negotiator for establishing relations with other entities to protect our brands-extend our reach, position our projects and help secure other needed resources. A good PR and Marketing Communication person is also being sought for the founders team. I hope that answers your question? I have many documents explaining energy flows, target markets, (and old spreadsheet with 10 of the 25 envisioned profit streams), etc. We are talking about broadcasting from the venue(s) on the Web, via mobile devices and terrestrial television as part of each community venue's game plan, so a background in mass communication would be very helpful as well as licensing and franchise law knowledge and organization. Wheew! :-)

Thanks for you interest and care. I hope that helps?

I just received a call from someone at the LIGHTHOUSE CAFE who picked up a V.A.R.I.O.U.S. Media INK Counter Card. He called me right after arriving at the Kahului airport from LA. The funny thing is I was video conferencing not a moment before his call with our LA Associate Chris T for two hours - discussing how we are going to produce VMI in LA.

Now we have a wonderul, well connected, new friend who believes in the mission of Creativity Cafe and our edutainment for the whole community he will be featured in -- a catalyst for creative networking and cultural communing, i.e. the MAUI ARTISTS SHOWCASE AND NETWORKING EVENT: http://creativity.net/maui/mas/

See you Friday. Remember you can tune in and interact via audio, video and text chat: http://www.ustream.tv/channel/various-media-ink0

Oh, BTW, that person to be featured, is Jim Mitchell, an artist animator from Venice, California. See the top blog post of this day for more info and his web link.

Don't miss this Friday's broadcast and if you're on Maui, come on down!!!

A hui ho!

CC
