Below is documentation from the installation of Creativity Cafe; a "New School for the Next Millennium" featuring "KidCast For Peace; Solutions For a Better World" produced by Peter H. Rosen; founder of Visionary Artists Resources Including Other Unique Services -- at the Siggraph Computer Graphics Conference; Orlando, Florida, July 1998.

We wish to congratulate all the people who cared enough to support this project -- especially our three shining stars, Dr. Dave Warner for his guidance and logistical support, Master Teacher Dekle Vickers (shown below with Mr. Rosen; left), for his amazing grace in coming to my rescue when the machines I had arranged for suddently became unavailable -- just before the show!

Deckle and his Son dismantled their High School Computer Lab in Talahassee FL; hauled it hundreds of miles to Orlando and set it up in "Creativity Cafe for a Week" booth (designed by Peter H. Rosen, this writer), then they took a hotel room nearby and helped me man the booth for 12 hrs DAILY! What angels! Lastly Scott Hawthorne made sure all the computers were loaded with creativity enhancing software from Metacreations and arranged for trainers to do demos!

Creativity Cafe was conceived in twelve hours on the night of July 11-12, 1980 under the stars at Zuma Beach, Malibu, California. Envisioned as a positive media production and enjoyment center... a"New School for the Next Millennium", we enjoy the blessings of having both http://creativity.net  and  http://creativity.com root domains thanks to a magical twist of fate!

V.A.R.I.O.U.S. is seeking kindred spirits to collaboratively build this network of community visioning centers, proposed as a model for other Neighborhood Cybertheater-Community Communication & Education Centers like it around the world.

Each venue will actively practice PRONOIA. Our desire is to bring together New Awareness collaborators and creatives...to uplevel, uplift, empower, inspire, heal, entertain and educate live and digital audiences to be better humans in fun and friendly ways.
