for a 24 hour EARTH DAY, April 22, 1998, Global Kids Gathering

EARTH DAY, April 22, 1998 marks the sixth "KidCast For Peace" CU-SeeMe multicast and interactive global community forum, for kids of all ages (with a focus on K-12 and youth) to speak out for a better world. No matter what age you are, we encourage you to participate in at least one of the many ways we have set up to facilitate and record your expression.

The KidCast will have several "host" locations. "Broadcast Central," for KidCast number six is True Link Cyber City Maui, in Kahului, Hawaii. "KidCast For Peace; Solutions For A Better World" is made possible through the resources of Visionary Artists Resources Including Other Unique Services (V.A.R.I.O.U.S.) a not for profit community benefit association, and generous donations from corporate and private sectors.

Our goal is to give children of today (the leaders of tomorrow), a loud voice in shaping the world they will inherit. Please join us in many schedualed and spontaineous inter-activites featuring a CU-SeeMe videoconference in which kids will share art that expresses how to make this a happier, healthier, safer and more peaceful world.

Children [of all ages] are encouraged to express solutions to global and local issues beginning April 22, 1998, 10am Hawaii Time through art creation and other expressions.

We invite YOU to assist in making a "Get Well Card" for mother Earth and it's peoples. Start now in preparation for our global Earthday "KidCast;" a 24 hour CU-SeeMe Internet Multicast and Video Conference. Join the global family and use your art to speak your heart, or empower your community to do so! Express what you would do to make this a happier, healthier, safer and more peaceful planet?

We invite your participation through Art & Experience Creation, Website and VRML World design, Natural Instrument Music Jams, CU-SeeMe Interactive Videoconference/MultiCasts, Chats, Avatar Environments, experiencing Eco Experts Online live, MIDI Jamming realtime!, Net Controlled LASER Light Show and much more. All are welcome to participate.
