That's not art. That's a dramatic recreation (and a poor one at that) about crap that no one wants to talk about. I see the importance of making a movie, or writing a book about it, but that does not mean that it is an "artistic" piece of work, and a movie like "X-Men United" is not.
Of course it boils down to opinion, but who, truely, has taken years to think for themself? Most people go to school until they are in their twenties and then do a job they don't like and really don't spend much time figuring out much of anything with their own thoughts...some do, but not nearly enough, I am thinking. I have been lucky enough to pull out of the "rat race" and spend some serious time thinking on life and how I should be living it. I have spent MUCH time thinking about ART and have come to the conclusion that the word means almost absolutely nothing.
When you study it, you change it.
