If you've never heard about this project: OPENCREATORS is a platform for people who are creative, like inventing and hold the principles of open source.
"Open-source inventing" means that all ideas and projects that are discussed and developed on this website can be used, copied and built - without the fear that patents & laws will cause problems. This is even appreciated.
The only rules that have to be kept are the guidelines of the "Creator's Public License". This license is similar to the GNU Public License(GPL). Since the OPENCREATORS do not depend on money, patents, companies or other restrictions, everyone can contribute any ideas to this project - no matter if they are creative, unusual or not.
The goal of OPENCREATORS is to form a creative community of people who contribute many individual & tiny but creative ideas to several concrete construction projects. They have to be considered as studies and could become real products. The OPENCREATORS community - or any interested company, institute or individual - will be able to build them(at least prototypes).
The most important condition to create extraordinary or totally new things is fun. I hope that this project will give us the chance to make inventing "funnier". So feel free to join this project and become a member !
