Inspired Living in the Radical Now:
Inventing Solutions for the Wildest of Times

In 2003, we take upon us the mystery of this Present Time. We seek to excavate today's challenging issues in the belief that each contains a diamond essence, a profound mystery, pointing toward a potent possibility for good in the world. I believe we can enter that creative mystery -- touch into its power and deeper purpose, and even find it within ourselves. With that awareness keenly known, we can find natural and exquisite ways to add to the sum total of the world's healing and its joy, as well as our own.

For this special introductory weekend we will focus on several fiery concerns that also parallel many of our personal issues. We will discover the ways our own lives reflect these issues and explore what we can do to become change agents, bringers of good, midwives of souls.

Enhancing the weekend's activities will be movement and music, stories and myths, experiential processes and play, and as always in my seminars, a great deal of fun and laughter. All these come together to provide a time out of time that is restorative and challenging, thought-provoking and valuable.

The weekend begins on Friday evening with a light supper, and an evening session that sets the context for our work together, plus some time for meeting one another. Saturday and Sunday provide time for meditation, for training, lectures, processes, ritual, entertainment, and profound sharing within a teaching/learning community.

Jean Houston has worked for decades all over the world, studying, training and evoking the Possible Human. In this prelude to the 2003 Mystery School, Jean, with her 37 years of teaching and exploration in the field of human capacities, will show us how to live globally and learn from the world?s cultures so that we may live a larger life in this interconnected world..
