Dear Peter,
We're at it again. Please pass the word around. Thanks in advance for the
help.
If you have questions please ring me 919.949.2113.
Best, James Navé

Do not let yourself be fooled.
A card trick is a card trick.
You can dress it up,
take it to town,
even say yes to it,
but when you do,
just know that real magic
is more than sleight of hand.
It‚s the difference
between a growing season and a plastic flower.

The Artist's Way Creativity Camp
„Creativity is a spiritual issue. Life itself is a creative issue. You are
invited to join Julia Cameron, James Navé and selected faculty for an
empowering week at The Artist‚s Way Creativity Camp in beautiful Taos, New
Mexico.

The Artist‚s Way Creativity Camp: June 17-22 and August 19-24.
Each morning, Julia will teach an Artist‚s Way Creativity Workshop using
a lively mix of interactive play, talk, questions and answers and readings
from all her works. Julia will show you how to replace limiting blocks such
as fear, self-sabotage, jealousy, guilt, addictions, and other inhibiting
forces with artistic confidence and productivity. You will discover that
creativity is God‚s gift to you and using your creativity is your gift back
to God.
Each afternoon you can practice what you‚ve learned by attending
workshops offered by James Navé and selected faculty. These workshops
include: poetry, drumming, fabric painting, visual arts, photography, yoga
and performance.

The Artist‚s Way Supplies Camp: July 22-27
Each morning, Julia will use a entertaining mix of interactive play,
questions and answers, and readings from all her works and talk, as she
teaches from her new book, Supplies, a companion volume to The Artist‚s Way.
Julia will offer you a witty, insightful and oftentimes hard-edge look at
what to do after you‚ve finally taken creative flight. You‚ll learn how to
disarm the Piggybackers, Worrywarts, Bad News Fairies and Free Lance
Spiritual Advisers, archetypal figures that will most certainly emerge the
moment you are reaching for new heights. In her workshops, Julia will provide
you with a pilot‚s manual of spiritual strategies for navigating the flight
path to fulfilling your creative destiny.
Just as in The Artist‚s Way Creativity Camp, each afternoon you can
practice what you‚ve learned by attending workshops offered by James Navé and
selected faculty. These workshops include: poetry, drumming, fabric painting,
visual arts, photography, yoga and performance.

THE WORKSHOP LOCATION
All classes will be held at the San Geronimo Lodge, surrounded by gorgeous
views. The grounds are ideal for solitary walks, reading, thinking, drawing,
writing, or just lounging in the sun. If you feel like exploring further, the
Lodge is a convenient two miles from historic downtown Taos which overflows
with delightful shops, coffee houses, and art galleries.
ACCOMMODATIONS AND MEALS
We‚ve made arrangements for your lodging in one of the many wonderful bed and
breakfasts in Taos. Your room assignment will be in your registration packet.

Breakfast will be served by each bed and breakfast. Lunch and dinner will be
served in the San Geronimo Lodge dining hall. You‚ll enjoy a generous
selection of vegetarian dishes as well as delicious servings of fish,
free-range chicken, and, of course, dessert!

TRANSPORTATION
Most major airlines fly into Albuquerque, NM which is 120 miles south of
Taos. So that you have the freedom to explore the many wonderful sights in
town and nearby, we recommend that you rent a car during your stay. The major
car rental firms have desks in Albuquerque airport, or you can arrange a car
in advance through Enterprise Rent-A-Car in Taos (505-737-0514). For daily
shuttle flights from Albuquerque to Taos, try Rio Grande Air (877-435-9742).
For shuttle van service, try Twin Hearts (800-654-9456).

The Creativity Camps will fill up fast, so make your reservation as soon as
possible. Tuition for the camp is $1550 which includes all workshop
activities, meals, double occupancy bed and breakfast lodging and sales tax.
