Would you please review and respond as soon as possible with your answers. I am
looking forward to a productive meeting next week.
We will each have time to present our programs and talk about what can offered to
students and teachers. Please reply as soon as possible, so that the agenda can
be confirmed. Thank you.
1) Will you attend or send someone from your organization.
2) How much time you need for a presentation of your program.
Please be prepared to include:
* How what you do can be used to reach & enroll students and teachers, youth
groups or individual kids.
* How your program can support specific types of projects.
For your information:
Kenneth Shores, President of the SW Chapter of People to People, technology wiz
and storyteller will be attending from Texas. In addition to his presentation on
People to People and it's interest in KidStock connections, he will be demo'ing
the international internet conference call and working with Peter Rosen to
demonstrate the Creativity Cafe program via a live internet link from Hawaii.
*NOTE: He will be bringing a lap-top, projection screen and other tools for his
presentation. He has generously offered these to assist with other presentations,
if needed too.
The purpose of our meeting and agenda for 10/24 follows.
* To more fully understand the opportunities available for student producers of
for KidStock 2001 via those of us present at this meeting.
* To collaborate on connections between our programs which can used to enhance
the opportunities for teachers and students
* To create a promotional campaign to reach students with invitation to
participate in KidStock 2001 in classroom projects, school club or community
youth group projects, individual project submissions.
