You have come upon a meeting ground for creative spirit on a transformational path. We invite you, dear "Storyteller Of The New Millennium," to share a tale and offer a suggestion to nurture creative spirit. What techniques do you use to overcome the challenges of our rapidly changing and complex world?

Our production in the Studio (AKAKU-TV) has been thwarted by their staff, who at the last minute mired us in paperwork and protocall, and cancelled our production. Rather then work with our team to develope a solution to their last minute challenges, the CEO in charge expressed fear that was unreversable. Akaku has made it too difficult to work with them. We are seeking another location to host the public of Maui for our Ninth KidCast for Peace. We WERE talking with AT&T about installing a fast phone line there. Perhaps there is a better outcome (that is usually the case when expectation and plans that seem to be moving forward, shift). There is an outdoor Earth Day festival at Maui Community College on April 22nd where we will have a table for the public to make KidCast Art for submitting, scanning and broadcasting in our CU-SeeMe Network. We were going to have the kids and parents make art at the festival and bring it to the TV studio where we were going to produce the next Maui Artists Showcase. That will no longer happen in the Maui Community Television Public Access Studio. The people there were afraid of losing control....and of the public being out of control....even though I assured them I had contigency plans for handling the public and allowing for the optimal enjoyment and education that a production in their facility would bring. Please stay tuned for details on where we wind up, to be announced.
