We are now poised for production live on the Internet for "KidCast For Peace; Solutions For a Better World" Earth Day April 22, 2000. We will originate our beginning KidCast Moderation at 9am Maui Time as part of Visionary Artists Resources Including Other Unique Services next production of the Maui Artists' Showcase from the studios of Akaku Maui Cable Television. What follows is for publication far and wide! Please distribute.

Visionary Artists Resources Including Other Unique Services invites you to share your art and heart on Earth Day April 22, in the studios of Akaku (Calabash)l Kahului, Maui and elsewhere. Anyone can call 808 573-4188 on the day before the event for complete details or visit Creativity Cafe's web site at http://creativity.net/kidcast2.html. This special edition, live before a studio audience version of the Maui Artists' Showcase features CHILD PRODIGIES honoring Earth Day and Creativity Cafe's "KidCast For Peace; Solutions For a Better World." We will be hosting children and the community at large for interactive art making and videoconferencing with peers around the world sharing their concern and "solutions." Our video multicasts will be originating from Maui, other Islands, and the world-at-large. PPPS: FYI: This is a personal invitation to participate in Creativity Cafe's "KidCast For Peace; Solutions For a Better World;" a telecommunications activity in which kids-of-all-ages meet (Earth Day, April 22, 2000 is next) in videoconferences several times a year to share their heart and ideas for making the world a happier, healthier, and more peaceful/safer place. Kids (focus on K-12) create analog and digital art, animation, web sites, etc. that demonstrate suggestions for improving the planet and its peoples as preparation for Earth Day. The actual KidCast For Peace is a CU-SeeMe (or other technology as resources develope) multi node videocast in which kids share their work interactively with their peers globally. "We are giving children an opportunity to tell the adults what to do for a change," says project producer Peter H. Rosen; founder of Visionary Artists Resources Including Other Unique Services; designed to nurture the creative spirit in everyone and to help build better humans.
