Inspirational Art Center
Inspirational Art comes from the heart.
It touches us deep inside in many ways. It may inspire love, insight, and beauty. Inspirational artists are often visionaries of sorts. They are inspired by some ideal, a possible reality of the future. Many such artists are very open to their own inner being and so express depth of insight which many do not see at first. For this reason, many great artists are not even recognized. Though we may not see the artists' insight at first, it can be like a seed within us that eventually grows and so becomes part of the keys to our own realizations. In this way, artists do a great service for humanity though they are rarely acknowledged. Such artists of all kinds are an untapped natural resource which can contribute towards our collective awakening to our true selves. This awakening in consciousness is a necessary step towards establishing peace on Earth.
The Inspirational Art Center would promote all such art, and focus especially on those most highly inspired and creative in expression. The center will have a public gallery as well as an Artists Synergy Space where artists can get to know each other and exchange ideas and talents in a creative environment. Slides of artists' works can be shown on a large screen. There will be workshops and classes where the general public can meet and learn with various artists. There will be a restaurant with a variety of international foods selected for their healthful qualities. The center will have its own graphic arts department for publications and advertisement. Many works of art, products, and services can be sold both at the center and through creative use of the mass media. Art is now very expensive partly because it is sold in small volume. With better collective advertising and promotion, the cost can come down making it both more profitable for the artists and affordable for the public. After an initial funding from private individuals, foundations, or government agencies such as the National Endowment for the Arts (NEA), the entire center will be self-supporting and a model for others like it.
