about the world beneath your feet. Join Underground Adventure Chief
Scientific Content Specialists on an expedition into the earth. Discover
the diversity of life that calls the soil its home. Based on the new
Field
Museum exhibition, "Underground Adventure," this program allows students
to watch as Museum staff shrink to a half-inch tall and walk through a
soil environment to stand face-to-face with the organisms that live there.

As explorers of the world below the surface, students will learn about
the diversity of life in soil; the interconnectedness of these organisms
with each other and with the non-living components of soil; the critical
role this ecosystem plays in supporting other life on earth; and their
own connection with and interdependence on the soil. They will discover a
whole new world beneath their feet.
