Last night a beautiful gathering took place at the home of Blue Mountain in Haiku. An estimated 100+ people arrived to begin ceremony and ritual to honor these transformational times. Many have prophetized the end of the world would come at these times and perhaps they are correct. However the end is nowhere "in sight...," the end is the end of a way of thinking that keeps humankind restricted in its possibilities to experience and express the full power of love.
Kedar St. John and Astara Hill led a ceremonial rite done in true Hawaiian tradition as handed down by the Kahuna's. We drank AVA tea and chanted as a community coming together to recommit toerasing separtations of heart, spirit and the Aina (land-Mother Earth) that have precipitated many aborations of true love and life.
As the starry night began to unfold the Perseid Meteor shower.... this writer was giving thanks for being on Maui, with friends and family to celebrate the anniversary of V.A.R.I.O.U.S. Media Ink Artists Showcase and Network, began on August 11, 1980, which has become a strong foundation toward the ultimate dream: (see link)
