Well, after all is said and done... We missed you on Earth Day! I had a
roomful of people, kids and adults, and we were able to get everything but
the connection to you. The CUSeeMe software was working, and we could see
into various computer labs around the world, but no one was there. And we
couldn't find your specific conference, even though you sent the info.
I think that maybe our time zone was after you went offline...

Does that sound right? or were we supposed to be at the url rather than on
the CUSeeMe software? I wonder where we went wrong...
Anyway, we explored the Earth Charter (www.earthcharter.org), talked about
parts of it that were dear to each of our hearts, and shared the artwork of
Trashformations: The Art of Recycling. Some of the younger kids really got
into creating their own artwork, but we ended up without a scanner, so we
weren't able to do anything with it except appreciate it.
Ah well, we did our best, and had a wonderful Earth Day experience on our
