Magical Thirteenth Has Begun

Our new Thirteenth Season began filming at Cox Communications in Santa Barbara on May 30, 2003 with the amazing spiritual teacher, healer, and author, Almine. It was truly an extraordinary show. And, many times when we think an energy, a communication, a Love, cannot be, in any way, duplicated, we are surprised, over and over again. Our second show of the season with master healer, spiritual teacher, and author, Stephen Co, was a wonderful example. As much as we all loved the Almine show, Stephen’s was likewise fantastic. We are so fortunate here at Bridging to have all these powerful, loving, and gifted people come in from all over the world to share their energies with us…..and the legions of Bridging fans all over the planet.

The rest of the Magical Thirteenth is filled with a delightful array of extraordinary talents. The additional guests already confirmed include Jose Arguelles, DaEl Walker, Vanessa Stone, Phillip Mountrose, Connie Zweig, Matt Guest, Michael Tamura and Samuel Oliner--to see short biographies of our next four guests for the Thirteenth Season, see below. In a collaboration with Cathy Heath and Mary Anne Green of “The Highest Love” organization, we have produced this magnificent image representing the new season. Jose Arguelles--Bridging Show # 159--June 27, 2003

Perhaps best known for his role in initiating the world famous Harmonic Convergence global peace meditation of August 16-17, 1987, Jose was also one of the originators of the Earth Day concept and is recognized as the “father of the Whole Earth Festival,” now in its 33rd year at Davis, California. Holding a Ph.D. in art history and aesthetics from the University of Chicago (1969), José’s career as an educator has included professorships at Princeton University, University of California Davis, the Evergreen State College, Olympia Washington, the Naropa Institute, San Francisco State University, the University of Colorado and the Union Graduate School. An artist as well as an author, his numerous books include the international best seller, The Mayan factor, Earth Ascending, Surfers of the Zuvuya, the Arcturus Probe and the recently published Time and the Technosphere, The law of Time in Human Affairs. A spiritual seeker, Jose studied Tibetan Buddhism for many years with noted meditation master, Chogyam Trungpa Rinpoche, yet feels it is important to break out of the shell of all organized religion and establish what he calls a “return to UR -the Universal religion.” But it is his pioneering work on the Mayan Calendar that has absorbed his energies most passionately. Ever since he had a visionary experience at the age of fourteen atop the Pyramid of the Sun, Teotihuacan, Mexico in 1953, he has pursued a lifelong investigation of the mathematics and prophecies associated with the Mayan calendar. His decoding of the Mayan calendar has resulted in an interactive game called Dreamspell, the Journey of Timeship Earth 2013, and the discovery of the Law of Time. According to the Law of Time, modern humanity is in trouble because it is immersed in an erroneous and artificial perception of time which causes it deviate at an accelerated rate from the natural order of the universe. To remedy this situation, Arguelles has been promoting the return to a natural timing cycle through the regular measure of the Thirteen Moon 28-day calendar. Since the end-date of the current Great Cycle of the Mayan calendar is in the year 2012, in order to survive the worst, humanity must make a shift to natural time - and soon. According to Arguelles, the time for this shift is July 25-26, 2004, the Great Calendar Change, when he is calling upon humanity to reject the current calendar and adopt the natural time Thirteen Moon 28-day calendar. Currently serving as the Director of Research and Senior Advisor of the Foundation for the Law of Time the organization that promotes his cause, on March 3, 2002, Arguelles was honored as “Valum Votan, Closer of the Cycle” by Nine Indigenous Elders atop the Pyramid of the Sun at Teotihuacan who awarded him a ceremonial staff for his efforts in helping to wake humanity up to the meaning of 2012.

DaEl is the Director of the Crystal Awareness Institute. For over 25 years he has focused research on subtle energy, crystals, healing, and sensitivity training. He has taught in 9 countries on 4 continents. He was the first western healer to teach healing to Japan. In February 1996, he was the only international speaker at the first New Age Expo in Asia, in Hong Kong. November 1996 he was the only American among 28 presenters at the first "Conference of Alternative Therapies" held in Eastern Europe, in Romania. His presentation was officially voted Best of Conference by the attendees. In 1998 he received the Martin De La Cruz Prize from the Academia Mexicana de Medicina Tradicional, at the 12th International Conference on Traditional Medicine, cosponsored by the University of New Mexico. This prize is given each year to the individual or organization that has contributed the most to alternative healing.

He has been involved in Crystal Skull Research since 1986 when he was part of a team of researchers who went to Canada and worked with the Mitchell-Hedges Skull. He has since worked on 27 crystal skulls and is the guardian of Rainbow, an ancient crystal skull. He is now travelling with the skull and bringing it to the attention of the world.

DaEl is part Native American, descended from the Cherokee tribe. He is an elder in the Spirit Horse Medicine Society.

He is the author of The Crystal Book, The Crystal Healing Book, co-author of the Crystal Sourcebook, has just finished the soon to be published Crystalotherapy, and is presently writing another book, Physics of Emotion. He has written a series of articles on alternative therapies for the Tin Tin Daily News in Hong Kong. He was recently the guest editor for Insight magazine in Australia and now writes a monthly column.
