One World Beat is a non-profit organization that is organizing the first global music festival in March 2003 and we would like to invite your organization to participate. It will be held in venues and music schools all over the world.
The One World Beat music festival is as an opportunity for local musicians and non-profit organizations to participate in a global project - for a good cause. The festival gives the participating organization the possibility to communicate their cause and activities to the public and the media.
How it works:
A participating organization gets together with a solo musician or a band and organizes a local concert. The venue can be a live music venue or any place that's suitable for the event. There is no limitation as far as the size of an event and musicians of all styles and levels can participate. One World Beat then promotes the event on an international level through the media. This will give the artists and the organization additional exposure for their art and message.
So far we have confirmed events in Canada and the United States and we are in contact with several organizations and artists in England and Australia.
