: I am new to the site and just getting acquainted with it. I am an Episcopal priest in downtown Houston, Tx. We have a special interest in ministry within the museum district and seek out ways to raise the awareness of the value of creativity in our religious/spiritual lives.
I would suggest that creativity is our root and our religious (doctrine) must indicate that we are creative seeds of god from birth, and things like religion, government (similar fear based control mechanisms/systems) have taken away our knowing ourselves as SPIRITUAL BEINGS of the Universe, who can create ones life according to their innate BEINGness and authentic program...
When expressing life according to ones inner calling rather than the overlay of society, religion, or governmental doctrine, that is SPIRITUALITY. To be Creative, one must honor their unique and divine spark.
What fucks up this planet is attemps by governments and religions to create NORMALIZED beings from GOD CENTERED beings. This usually means, squelching any creativity that might interfear with man made doctrines.
My two cents.
