Time to start thinking differently about our art and performancres, and how we can now communicate virtually and easily. In ten years what will that look like?

Big screen stereo TV will deliver it.

STEREO VISION ON A CHIP COMING
Tyzx is developing a computer-vision system based on stereo vision,
which creates three-dimensional images by using two closely spaced
video cameras linked by a high-speed data channel to a custom
processing card in a standard PC. The company is working to shrink the
entire system onto a single chip for widespread commercial use.
Achieving acceptable performance requires the chips to complete the
equivalent of 50 billion operations a second, and data must flow from
cameras to processor at 220 million bits a second. Tyzx is looking for
commercial applications now that will help pay for continuing to shrink
its vision technology.
