MAUI HAWAII - Can rivers of love float in a sea of fear? That is the question Maui Multimedia Artist Peter H. Rosen will answer in his one-man Magical Mystery Tour and Automobile Adventure. "Rivers Of Love" will debut with a multi-location, multi-sensory, hi-tech, no-tech storytelling experience and concert. The adventure begins at 6:30pm on June 11th with a gathering at the Kihei Canoe Club where some fun networking exercises will take place. Then, the group travels en-masse to secret locations in Wailuku for the remaining experiences. Carpooling is advised. Techno-shaman Rosen will marry the ancient art of storytelling with state-of-the-art computer graphics and animation. He will also share in a sing-along concert of his songs. This distinctive show is a going-away-party and fundraiser for Visionary Artists Resources Including Other Unique Services and We the World. During the show, Rosen will reveal how maturing technology will effortlessly create income for creative people and solve community problems at the same time. "Those who have harnessed the power of desktop movie making computers to tell THEIR stories, will be the gold miners of the future," says Rosen. "The world is hungry for New Myths that can help bring inner and outter peace, and real meaning back to our lives."
A long standing member of the Computer Graphics community and producer of the Maui Artists' Showcase "living gallery" event and Cable TV show, Rosen is leaving Maui to embark on a national tour to Los Angeles and New York to raise funds to further his work as coordinator of Visionary Artists Resources Including Other Unique Services (V.A.R.I.O.U.S. Media) and collaborate with http://www.wetheworld.org. Their objective: to help manifest a sustainable and peaceful future world.
Peter's mission is to build a network of Creativity CafÈ community "collaboratories"--places to produce and enjoy positive, life-enhancing media and theatrical experiences. Technology seems to be a barrier to physical intimacy. "Just around the corner," Rosen observes, "are new edutaiment and community visioning centers that will network you with everything you need to help heal your body and heart, and connect you with the resources you need to make your dreams come true."
