The Making of Cool In The Shade by Peter H. Rosen & John "Windcloud" Montalvo

This jam between Windcloud and I was recorded May 3, 1999 just before I went back to SF for the last time after 5 years trying to found Creativity Cafe there.  It was the only time he stayed overnight with me in Kihei.  I happened to have the video camera from Akaku Maui's community TV (public access) station so I put in a tape and out flowed what you see. Then I did some post processing using an archaic rainbow making tool, captured that with an archaic screen capture utility and put that together with our recording against a blue screen (airoplane blanket) i put up behind us for chromakey later.  2 weeks later I was on my way to close out my SF office and the words to Cool in the Shade named for Windy's words and the melody we came up with on tape. Only now the words were delivered by a higher source at 39K feet in the back of a 727 jet on the way to SFO. It was fun (and a bit annoying) to have groupies watch and listen as I softly strummed while singing the words i'd written in my head, They were trying to figure out who was that "rock star" with the curiously shaped (vagabond) guitar, writing in a note book.  Enjoy. 08/01/2008

A little Light Music (MOS)

Planning for my next trip East for Mom's 89th!

 ••••••••••• Thursday, July 31, 2008 2:19:00 PM Pacific/Honolulu •••••••••••

I am thinking to travel around the end of August to visit the East Coast and possibly stop in LA for the opening of Laserium which I am seeking to help with their final funding.  If you have some money to invest, please consider getting in touch with me. As one of the known and trusted insiders, I have been given permission to seek investors (in exchange for a finders fee which I am happy to share) for the new theater multimedia theater complex that could be a future home of Creativity Cafe LA, at the corner of Hollywood and Vine.

I have been exploring solar power stocks and mutual bonds: GE Financial Services with the idea to invest any money that comes my way via grants, family money and of course income that results from my expertise in Macintosh Computing, web design, photography, etc.

I am also testing MacJournal which I love BTW and the use of iKey, my favorite macro utility from Scriptsoftware .  I have been writing my book for which these Adventures are being considered along with the many others not yet published. The stories describe the life of a person who lives by his heart and intuition/intention and invention in order to utilize my talents, gifts of vision and understanding the creative persona.

I have made a pact with God to apply my considerable skills and proclivities as an analog-digital communicator and multimedia live event producer - in meaningful, compelling ways that contribute to a better world. I can't think of a higher purpose! Its just that I am pulled in so many divergent directions thanks to these copious creative gifts, that it often becomes overwhelming - especially operating without funds for hiring the help I so desperately need... to help me make sense of it all, so to take advantage of the seeds within me and have my (intellectual) babies become viable in the world of educational entertainment.

I have put out my need to the universe and was given an assignment to read a very popular book that could help visionaries like this writer to gain the wisdom needed to secure the needed assistance, comrades in arms and socially conscious investors (to invest in Creativity Cafe). If you can be of any assistance to help me realize my dreams and goals (elsewhere stated) I would so appreciate it!  Mahalo.

Kaleidoscopic Combo Explorations

Amazing Synchronicity!

I was testing sound levels before recording a podcast with Skype and Encamm's fantastic Conversation Recorder. Encamm's sponsorship of V.A.R.I.O.U.S. enabled capturing this amazing synchronicity of sound. I was waiting for the beep from my own answering machine but the universe chimed in, instead!
