Maui Slack Key Guitar Festival - segment

A recording with my Canon ZR70 of Maui's famed festival featuring the best of the state and beyond. I am going to write an article on the "tripod" I used for video magazines. Can anyone guess what it was that enabled the mostly smooth moves and stable long shots?

No questions asked. If you followed the links in the book's
contents, you might be reading this now.

THE BLACK AND WHITE speckled composition book was lost yesterday at
Queen Ka'ahumanu Center. It's more valuable to me, than the the
checks I was about to deposit! That might be why you haven't returned
it? What a sad commentary on some people's ethics. The book had the
inscription on the cover: "IF FOUND PLEASE RETURN" along with my name
and number.

One would think if a responsible person found it, they would call
immediately -- leading me to believe young kids figure into the mix?
Obviously they don't have the emotional maturity to know that someone
who kept such a scrapbook of their lives, would indeed miss it. It's
certainly of no value to them and the checks have all been stopped.
PEASE RETURN MY BOOK if you found it. My phone number is everywhere
on the promotional cards carried in its pages. They are copies of
the graphic designs I use to market my community service project:
V.A.R.I.O.U.S. Media Ink; Visionary Artists Showcase and Networking
Event. Please call that number all over the Maui Artists Showcase
promo cards, and tell me where to pick up the notebook.

Please return my Composition Book - SPOTLESS MIND

Sadly my stupidity and distraction by my ailing Mac caused the 3rd or 4th journal to go missing yesterday. I had a wheeliebopper carrying my laptop and back-book (journal) wedged between bungee cords (I normally keep it wedged against my back tucked into my pants. But I was on my way to buy a new belt and couldn't keep the notebook in my back without the belt.

I forgot all about it when I got to the jeweler. I was hoping a jeweler could pull the broken plug-tip out of the headphone jack on the Mac. I loosened the bungee as a result of taking the Mac out of it case and the composition book must have slipped out somewhere in my mall travels. Of course I retraced my steps, reported it to security and the cleaning people. I personally went thru every trash bin I could find after retracing my steps and inquiring with store owners.

PLEASE RETURN MY COMPOSITION BOOK! The black and white speckled composition notebook held my life's mementos pasted-in, tucked into bungee cords on my wheelie bopper (rather than my back where it normally would have been.

There was also my government check for $300. The book had my name and this request on the cover: “If found please return to ‘my name’, my ‘number’.” The book had VMI promo cards I designed for my public service project; V.A.R.I.O.U.S. Media Ink; Visionary Artists Showcase and Networking Event.

They were pasted in along with a whole bunch of other stuff to chart my creative output and progress. As well as to communicate to someone that I hope will someday want to know what’s inside my heart mind and soul.

Also were sacred documents and photos. If you know who found it and manage to read this, I'd really like it back! No questions asked. Please email: various @ or call me 875-4747.

I am so depressed over losing things. I was distracted by my ailing Mac. The tip of a 1/8th stereo plug broke off in the earphone jack and now I can't get any sound out of the headphone port (used extensively in my sound studio work and listening to online media).

Speaking of which this movie on HULU.COM The film mirrors my life and emotional state in many ways and I love the use of special effects and how it adds to the rather complex storyline (just like life, eh). The lead woman is someone I swear I know! (exactly like a Maui soul named Lili, a fellow New Yorker). both in language, persona, vocal inflection, etc. awesome likeness and someone I am attracted to because of her zannyness and freedom to follow her guides regardless of how she appears to others.

In this day and age, we MUST adhere to our inner calling in order to birth the new fabric of reality. Living authentically has always been challenging. That this character approaches life that way is a refreshing reflection of my personal reality with so many layers of life I live at once, the artist, entertainer, producer, geek, musician, activist, photographer, businessperson, etc. “So many different people to be.”

----------------- now I am writing the story of yesterday ---------
I am being somewhat comforted by Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind on Hulu; a great site for watching media -- of all sorts, including this fantastically allegorical movie - set on Long Island where I grew up. I am loving this film!

It speaks volumes about relationships, the fragility of being human, the fearful contemplations of the soul as we evolve and grow into the people we become, all because of our thoughts, interactions with others and educations thanks to various knowledge sources - beginning with those we come in contact with, to actual teachers and mentors.

This girl is crazier than he is and yet both insanity’s are recognizable parts of my own gestalt, and in fact with that of any of us and we learn life’s lessons from life itself. The movie is a statement on society. Its a very deep film. It explores our fears and our breakthroughs. A must see movie!
