Back to Mom's: New York, Just like I remembered it, but Better.

The is the exact opposite view of the previous image; taken from NJside of the Hudson River. Notice the plane flying out of the EmpireState Building. I am loving the new Canon Digital Rebel 350 XT,especially for how it empowers my Spirit Body Process PerformancePhotography.

Ramblin back to Mom's: NYC looking Good

Here we are looking West from exactly opposite where the above partingNY skyline image was taken. This is the view from Annie's backyard (ok,the view is from 5 blocks away) where they built a pier for people towalk and sit.

Out of the rabbit hole, I recounted the great times, sights and sounds(in future entries) fun and friendship. I danced from one side ofManhattan into the Magic of the Expo and out the other side, the EastRiver where the view above was stunning at Sunset!

Ramblin in NY: leaving on a Subway to the Motherlode

I went back to Mom's to continue to help her get place neat andorderly. It was great to be in NYC for a few days. And thanks to Annie,to have a base and an old friend back into my life. I couldn't help butthink of the path I've been on in my life. Its been very rich with allsorts of great people and experiences of divine love.

Ramblin in NY: Schlepping 50lbs put me out!

Schlepping into the city with 50 lbs. of stuff to make recordings ofmusic, video, audio and some clothes to warm me in the very cold NYweather was more than a chore. When I got back to Mom's, I washorizontal and out cold in moments.

Ramblin in NY: Finding a Musical Peace

Theo, say's I shamed him into buying the drum... I emailed him when hetold me he broke the only music making tools he had, hey "how can youforget your religion?" I told him! He went right out and bought a drumfor our jam. I love playing with him. We rocked! Want to Listen to asnip?I had called the Jam for Thursday Oct 20th. Annie was nice enough tolet us use her house. I popped into the city to meet Theo and try toshop for some clothes. Magic and Synchronicity struck again!!!! Istumbled into Marianna from Maui.

Later that night (after walking the city for the first time) I staged areunion Jam with Annie on Rain Stick, Tibetan Bells, and Shaker, Theoon Dumbek, Jeff (whom I had last seen on Maui 4 years ago) and thealmost there guitar player. I am almost seen. I guess I was lost insome of the more esoteric thoughts at that moment.

Ramblin in NY: Jam Session at Annies

Jeff wails on a toy trumpet. OK, its not a toy any more than myVAGABOND travel guitar is, but it sure was sweet to hear him play andshare time and space again. We haven't seen each other since he leftMaui about 5 years ago. Gad zooks! it seems like just yesterday he tookoff for the far East.

Ramblin in NY: Jam Session at Annies

The next morning was lazy for me. I took time out from living to recallthese notes, write, and post the stories of my journey for you all. Thanks for letting me know you enjoy reading about THE ADVENTURES OFSHILOH BONES. Get ready for the first music making of the Trip!

Ramblin in NY: Theo and I connect without computers!

It turns out she is in town for a show of her Tibetan Art. I yelled tothe bus driver STOP GETTING OFF . He was just about to pull away fromone.... In a second, I'd dispensed the idea of raising the camera to myeye to shoot her, and ran stumbling over myself out the back of thebus! What a great reunion, divine synchronicity spice to this alreadymagical journey. We exchanged stories and information as she walked downtown with me tomeet with theo. We went to a Organic Grill and he picked up the tabfor lunch. Marianna stayed just long enough to meet Theo.

Ramblin in NY: Peter and Pooch Petzl

Annie's pooch, Petzl. Do you know what a Petzl is? Please comment if

so?

Ramblin in NY: Annie's Pete Projects Images & Records Them

Pete is also a photographer. He built his own camera (pictured) from aprojector lens and creates some cool images directly onto Cibachrome.

Ramblin in NY: Eurika! Spirit Body Light Painting; From Rocks to DNA

There was a lot of area light so it compromised the possibility ofmaking a completely invisible spirit, but I like the shot. Do you?

Ramblin in NY: Enter a Maui Goddess, Miracle of Synchronicity!

Amazing Coincidence? I took the #7 train into Grand Central and screwedup (yeah right) by not staying underground to go downtown to meet Theofor lunch. I popped out of the underground to the street at Lexington.I took a bus to get downtown, but didn't get very far.All of a sudden - after having the thought of "I should email some Mauifriends to spread the word I am here in NYC to see if anyone I know isvisiting?" Then magic happened! I looked out the bus window. Lo andbehold, there was none other than Marianna Rydvald, my very talentedArtist Friend on Maui.

Ramblin in NY: The perfect Model, Eurika

I found this woman from London (Eurika) who was sitting and watchingthe sunset. I asked if she might model for a spirit body photo. Sheagreed and we made the next image.

On the next floor, I went through the aisles and discovered a womanbending over a booth table. Her petite and lovely butt was covered ina skirt with revealing mesh that totally caught my eye. I overheardHemrhoroid operation and spoke up, in passing, "I had the operation -its no fun." The woman looked up. It was who I thought it was when shepassed me as I tried to register as press. Annie Siegal from LA. She'sbeen in NY for 10 years and was totally excited to see me as I her, though she couldn't remember who I was.I reminded her we slept together (and added but we didn't have sex). All around us were amused. I asked pretty quickly if she had room toput me up for the night and she agreed. We left basking in theblessings of running into someone who was a part of life 20 years ago.We immediately bailed from the expo and went back to her Long IslandCity home, delighting in the miracle of our reunion.I got to sleep in her bed, sadly, there was no cuddling. Her dog whichshe doted on - as if to taunt a man. She coo'd and lavished love uponher dog that all her heat. Some things never change, that's the way itwas back then as I recall. I was no competition for her dog and soonlost interest. I revealed to her I've been close to suicide on severaloccasions. I told the story of how Daniela saved me by making thebiography video about me and my work.It was really nice of Annie. she treated me for dinner, and in exchangefor lodgings, I agreed to help with her web site. She said it would beok to stay a few days with her and housemate PETE who had a visitor,Piki stay over.

Ramblin in NY: Date with Destiny Cont.

She looked up and behind from where she was sitting getting a demo andwarmly exclaimed, HI!, reaching out to pull me down and give me a hug.She seemed to recognize me. That big hug was so healing! I was puzzledand amazed/delighted. I let myself receive the juicy hug and feltembarrassed I didn't recognize her. She obviously knew me!I thought she was a stranger, but she turned out to be DAMON Torres's Xgirlfriend who had come to San Francisco with him and stayed at myhouse one night. What an amazing coincidence. We hugged again and gotreacquainted. She had other plans and had to go, so we parted company. But wait, there's more!

This is Annie whom I used to date. We haven't seen or heard from eachother in twenty years. It is this kind of adventure (I will describebelow) that make my life remarkable and worthwhile (as well as a wholelot of other reasons like giving my gifts).I left NJ by driving myself in mom's car (after chauffeuring her aroundto do errands like dropping off some of her stuff at Salvation Army andRed Cross) to the . I was speaking with Amara who mentioned the WholeLife Expo clone, New Life Expo in NYC. I'd been before many yearsback.I decided on the spot, even though I didn't know where I would sleep(as Bobby's Cancer has her too challenged to put me up). I know Samaraand David are "up the block" and could probably put me up but I haven'tcalled them yet. I will wait to see what happens at the Expo.Within 10 minutes of discovering that I couldn't get into the expo andget a press pass (they said I'd have had to fax in advance), I decidedto check things out to decide if I wanted to pay the $15 admission.Within moments, I met the first of two old friends and wound upsleeping with one of them.I simply walked into the expo exhibits as the New Yorker is a publichotel. They had expo security that were preoccupied mostly and notcounting the sheep looking for badges. I simply walked in like Ibelonged. Actually I had little interest in the expo itself (that isthe speakers). I was there to meet people. And meet people I did!In the aisles I heard someone mention needing to find a place to stayin Hawaii. I said I have a place I rent out. She looked up and gave meher card to be in touch and I saw here name written and exclaimed, PIA- reading her card and speaking her name to help with bonding with thispetite stranger!

NY Ramblin: Amara Points to my Destiny!!!

I called my old girlfriend, Amara who told me about the New Life Expoin NYC, so I changed my plans and jumped on a bus to NY from NJ wherei've been based to attend, trusting that I would find a place to sleepovernight to attend both days. God delivered in spades! In fact, because I ran into Annie, I missed the meeting with Amara. The photoabove was taken to honor another (3rd) synchronicity of the New LifeExpo held for me. I was about to leave to go back to NJ and stopped topee and look at the hotel restaurant menu. I was going to pass oneathing there until I looked up to see Amara who appeared out ofnowhere. She was walking right toward me, I said, May I help you, shelooked up and was startled in joy to behold my presence (and I hers).I took a trip into Manhattan, seen here from the bus window along theHudson River looking East. Notice the plane flying behind the EmpireState Building. I took a few photos of planes flying close to buildings(illusion) as a reminder of things.... not that we need such remindersof negativity, but that incident has become the wedge that is changingour world rapidly and polarizing our peoples.Peter H. Ramblin in NY: Karen liked my music and then some...

Karen, seen here listening to a recording of our meeting in my NJoffice (Panera's) where the FREE WIFI lives, has offered to connect mewith money people to possibly help launch Creativity Cafe. He wasattracted to me after my piano performance at the Library art showopening Oct 6th, 2005.

Ramblin in NY: Mom's Friends enjoying the Music

Here are mom's friends enjoying the opening and my music!

Ramblin in NY: Peter Performs on Piano Pleasing Patrons

It was a great experience to be able to play for my Mom and her friends! Not to mention everyone else~!

Ramblin in NY: Art show opening: Peter Plays the Piano

I happened to be in the Library near Mothers when an artist was setting up a gallery show there. I have always wanted to play the grand piano there so I asked the artist if he'd like me to play. He agreed to the great enjoyment of the Library Director and Board of directors (one of whom seen here thanking me for my music for the third time!). I will be applying to have an art show of my ROCKS TO DNA Spirit Body Photography at the suggestion of the Library director. Peter H. Ramblin in NY: Maria had a little lamb, little lamb, Maria...

Only a creative woman like my Mom would use a stuffed Lamb as a foot rest. She released it to a joyous Maria. Only a mother would have a photo her son sent her displayed like that of me and the Harvard Educator I'd met. Lynn doesn't have one expose image of me anywhere in her house. Ah, family!

Ramblin in NY: Maria comes to the Rescue!

Here, Maria, Mom's best friend, is getting into the act of moving out all the clutter in Mom's "Closet" (Which in her case is the whole apartment). I had my share on hauling stuff around and in some cases moving it two, three, up to ten times just to make order. We gave a lot of her stuff to Red Cross to help with those wiped out by the storms.

Ramblin in NY: Me and Mom, East Coast Sunset

For an 86 year old woman, she is doing great! My dad at 86 is struggling with his age and shows it. Mom has always been good at hiding the truth.

Ramblin in NY: Enter Sister Lynn and Family

My sister Lynn loves her dogs. It was great to be with her in Florida, there with Mom for the birthday celebrations. Now (Sept 30, 2005)

Moving on to New York Area: A Mothers Welcome

I am in the NY area to help mother clear out all her extra stuff. There is nothing as wonderful as being with a loving mother, even if she is a hoarder and collector of many things of beauty (in the eye of the beholder) that requires my powers of organization and physical labor to harness the mess (plenty photos but you'll have to wait until I write about the life of a Hoarder.) There is nothing like a great mother to give a son a warm welome home!

Ramblin in Florida: The Beautiful Irena: Creativity Cafe Chat

Here I am with lovely Irena. We spoke about her Messenger Club and integration with Creativity Cafe. She is a wealthy woman helping rebuild the damaged Gulf area hit by the recent storms and expanding support internationally. Involved with Telecommunications and satellite delivery of content. We are hoping she will play a part in Creativity Cafe International distribution of clientele created content.

Ramblin in Florida: Len in the Limelight

I left Florida after our visit, and my visit with dear friend and former Maui housemate Len. On the way to pick up a rental car to see family and father in Florida, we stopped at the beach for a swim in the Atlantic Ocean.

Ramblin in Florida: After Mom's Party an Atlantic Ocean Swim

It was great to hang with Lenny, my one time Maui housemate, now Miami Man. Our sense of humor's jive perfectly. Likewise my uncle Hank who is also a rather zany character as no doubt you can see from the photo below!

Ramblin in Florida: Got to Hand it to Hank to Liven up the Party!

My uncle Hank is seen here with an extra helping hand. He also brought a bag of various hats he kept putting on people to liven up the party. It showed and helped us realize how much we are affected by a persons dress.

Ramblin in Florida: Uncle Hank Brought Hats!

I have posted photos of the Bass Family and Friends and Birthday Party for Jack and Miriam, Please have a look: http://tinyurl.com/ckcgz . Speaking of hats affecting how we are and are perceived, if you notice my shirt above for a moment. It has turtles (which have sacred and special meaning for me) and music (likewise). I had to do community service at the Salvation Army to work off a seat belt ticket by hanging clothes on hangers (knowing full well I would be dealing with mothers clothes in a few days). I had long been searching for a shirt with a musical instrument and turtles and finally found it on one of the racks (the turtle hidden by my hand). Peter H. Ramblin in Florida; another Rocks to DNA Spirit Body Process Photo

I discovered that my cousin Ron's daughter Carleigh and her husband Jacob have a lot in common, like a sense of adventure and play. Carleigh was nice enough to model for my SPIRIT BODY LIGHT PAINTINGS.
