INVITATION: Earth Day KidCast for Peace

Digital (or not) Storytelling Adventure!
Please accept this invitation to KidCast for Peace and offer your Solutions for a Better World. KidCast (kids broadcast) is designed to promote education that fosters VALUES for sustainable solutions using creative multimedia.

Earth Day is a successful catalyst for ongoing environmental education, action and change. KidCast inter-activities provide points of entry that encourage individuals and communities to focus on their local environmental issues and their causes.

Creativity Cafe has selected the topic "Water For Life" for this year's event; to provide education about the sustainability of water, while increasing our understanding of personal stewardship and global community collaboration. Participants are asked to focus on the rivers and water sources within their communities and create a digital story told from nature's point of view. Suggested applications for Digital Storytelling: Power Point, Web pages, Flash, Voice Over Sound Files, Video Clips of Skits, Eco Rap Songs (mp3) and/or 3D animation. Of course scanned 2D analog art is fine too!
